Maryland Life Coaching And Hypnosis

While smoking rates have dropped, there are some who continue to smoke. Being a former smoker myself, I can sympathize with those who still do. It's a hard habit to break. For me, it took several attempts.

We all know the benefits and the risk of smoking. If you have tried in the past to quit, but you're still smoking, I offer this information as reinforcement to try again. According to the CDC, most smokers will attempt to quit 5-7 times on average. And trying to quit cold turkey only produces a 2-3% success rate. That being said, its always worth one more try.

Studies have shown that the best results come by way of support groups, pills, patches and exercise. Before attempting your quit, make a plan and have support in place. By doing so you increase your odds of success dramatically.

Be honest with yourself and be gentle. When you decide to quit it seems as though everyone will have an opinion. Do what feels right for you, and do not beat yourself up {and throw away your quit over a relapse.} Stay with it. There is power in perseverance.

If you do feel that you need help with accountability or would like to try hypnosis, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

From one ex smoker to a future ex smoker, I understand what you are going through.
